A3tag Intelligent/58 KHz AM/RFID
Used in combination with the Retailers Advantage A3tag Smart Detacher, the A3tag Intelligent/58 kHz AM/RFID combine different technologies to bring together the advantages of UHF RFID tags in terms of inventory control, the effectiveness of traditional EAS against shoplifting and, as first in the market, the capability of preventing internal theft.
These UHF RFID EAS tags are ideally suited to fashion and shoes.
The EAS part of the standard product version works with 58 kHz Sensormatic systems, but a wide range of EAS frequencies can be combined with the EPC Gen 2 RFID technology:
– 8.2 MHz (typically Checkpoint)
– 3.25 MHz, 4.8 Mhz
– 58 kHz (typically Sensormatic)
– 915 MHz (old Sensormatic)
– 888 MHz (old Knogo systems).
Product versions combining the EPC Gen 2 RFID technology with both the Sensormatic (58 kHz) and the Checkpoint (8.2 MHz) EAS technologies can be delivered upon request.
The included RFID tag is the UPM DogBone inlay with Impinj Monza 4D chip.
The A3tag Intelligent/58 kHz AM/RFID tags are available in several colors: beige, white, red, black, and light grey.
August 12th 2011 update: Retailers Advantage is offering new EAS RFID tags specifically engineered for apparel tagging. The A3tag Intelligent/58 kHz AM/RFID tags are now called A3tag ALU500/ALU558/ALU582 and, used in combination with new special-purpose pins from Retailers Advantage, are suggested for industrial asset tracking applications.
Retailers Advantage’s UHF RFID EAS tags are no longer present in the VeryFields RFID Tags Database, but you can use it to find other tags that meet your requirements.
