Farsens Photon-LEDW703The Farsens Photon-LEDW703 is a passive Gen 2 compliant RFID tag capable of harvesting the energy of the surrounding UHF RF field and give a visual feedback of the RF field strength by lighting up the featured high-brightness green Light Emitting Diode (LED). The stronger the RF field in a specific point and a specific orientation, the brighter the LED will shine.
The LED is based on a InGaN technology and provides wide viewing angle of 120 degrees.
The Photon-LEDW703 can be used to assess the performance of new or aging UHF RFID implementations, or as a visual indicator to alert the person who carries it that he or she entered a specific area or has to perform a certain task at a particular location.
The tag is available in non-protected PCB formats for custom encapsulation or embedding in non-metallic assets/materials, or with fully customized encasements to meet any requirement in terms of mounting options and durability for use in demanding environments, including IP68 protection.
The product measures 76x20 millimeters and is optimized to perform across all world's regions.
