Farsens VMeter-DCLV10The Farsens VMeter-DCLV10 is a passive RFID tag that that embeds a low voltage DC metering circuitry to measure the voltage applied to its input channel and transmit the read voltage values along with the unique tag ID to any standard EPC Class 1 Gen 2 compliant reader.
The device represents a convenient starting point for companies that want to develop their own EPC Class 1 Gen 2 passive sensors, since they do not need to spend efforts and resources in the design of the RF part of the product, but only select the proper voltage-based sensors and integrate them with the VMeter-DCLV10.
V-Meter can measure voltage values from 0 to 1.5 volts with accuracy of +-1%.
Typical voltage-based sensors include load cells or strain gages, among others.
The VMeter-DCLV10 standard models come in non-protected PCB formats for being encapsulated in custom encasements to meet any requirement in terms of durability and mounting options.
Farsens offers also VMeter-DCLV10 versions featuring four voltage input channels.
