HID Global High Temperature LabelThe HID Global High Temperature Label is a wafer-thin UHF RFID labels that is capable of undergoing extremely harsh environmental conditions maintaining excellent read performance.
The tag can sustain very high temperature for long time, i.e. 140 degrees Celsius for 400 hours or 230 degrees Celsius for 20 hours, flames, exposure to diverse chemicals, repeated bending and torsion, moisture and prolonged immersion in water. Additionally, being originally developed to track work in process parts in automotive manufacturing, the HID Global High Temperature Label survives welding operations, autoclave sterilizations, anti-corrosive electrolyte baths, cycles of paint layer application, stages in drying ovens at temperature over 200 degrees Celsius.
The product can be used also to track automotive components during their whole lifetime, allowing automakers to better manage recall events. Furthermore, the HID Global High Temperature Label is suitable for tagging industrial tools, medical trays, heavy equipment, aerospace components, cargo containers, and even blade and rack servers.
This ultra-thin yet rugged EPC Class 1 Gen 2 RFID tag leverages the Impinj Monza 4QT chip and comes in a single global-use version that provides read range up to 8 meters on non-metallic surfaces.
The HID Global High Temperature Label features two holes to be mounted with screws or rivets. Self-adhesive on the back is offered as an option.
The product measure 80 mm x 50 mm x 0.5 mm, but custom-sized versions can be provided by HID Global in order to meet specific customer needs. The High Temperature Label can be delivered pre-programmed and laser engraved with barcodes or human-readable data.
