Nedap Identification Systems Smartcard-Booster 2G 9948554The Nedap Identification Systems Smartcard-Booster 2G is a battery powered device designed to allow long range identification of vehicle drivers. Featuring a slot to accommodate drivers' personal RFID badges, the Smartcard-Booster 2G transmits its unique ID and the personal access credentials contained in the badges in order to grant access to restricted areas only to authorized vehicles and drivers at the same time.
An RFID badge is easily removed for personal access to buildings and use with other vehicles that have the Smartcard-Booster 2G installed.
Attached with suction pads to the car windshield on the inside of a vehicle, the Smartcard-Booster 2G works on a proprietary protocol at 2.45 GHz and provides read range up to 10 m.
The Smartcard-Booster 2G supports ISO 14443 and ISO 15693 compliant smart cards (eg. MIFARE, LEGIC and HID iClass) operating at 13.56 MHz.
Different operation modes allow continuous or activated-by-user transmission.
