Xerafy Dot XXS EUThe Xerafy Dot XXS is a miniature UHF RFID tag designed to allow RFID tagging of very small metallic assets, providing at the same time excellent read range to size ratio and capability to survive harsh conditions such as temperature up to 150 degrees Celsius.
The tag has a diameter of 4.08mm, a thickness of 2.58mm and a weight of just 0.16 g. Such small form factor and light weight make the Dot XXS the right solution not only for situation where bigger tags cannot be adopted, but also for tracking metallic hand tools that would become impossible to use if equipped with bigger and heavier tags. Achieving 0.5 m, the read range is impressive for such small tag.
The Dot XXS can be attached with glue or integrated at the manufacturing stage.
This product version is specifically optimized for use at 865-868 MHz (Europe, India, Middle East, South Africa).
The Dot XXS is available also in an autoclavable version to be used on surgical instruments complying with the most stringent US Food and Drug Administration requirements for medical devices (FDA Class 1).
