Xerafy Roswell without brackets EUThe Xerafy Roswell is an innovative UHF RFID tag that uses its extremely rugged stainless aluminum chassis as an antenna to provide read range up to 5 meters and 180 degree read orientation in harsh and metal-rich environments.
The tag is made of two cylindrical metal cases with a thin high-temperature resistant substrate between them. This patent pending IP69K-rated design allows the Roswell to reliably withstand strong impacts and vibrations, sand blasting, extended exposure to extreme temperatures up to 250 degrees Celsius and challenging thermal cycling, painting processes in automotive, high temperature and high pressure washing processes, exposure to NaOH, sulfuric acid and many aggressive chemicals used in industrial environments.
The Roswell can be used in a wide range of applications, such as process management in automotive manufacturing and identification of metallic assets in the oil and gas, construction and mining sectors.
The product is well suited also for tagging returnable containers and other assets used in food processing facilities, which go through frequent high-pressure wash-downs.
The tag is ATEX certified for being used in potentially explosive atmospheres in Europe.
This Roswell model without brackets for screw-mounting has a round footprint with 28-mm diameter and thickness of 11 mm, and is designed for being welded directly onto metallic assets, offering a permanent and extremely secure mounting option. The use of high performance adhesive is an alternative.
Xerafy can deliver the product laser engraved with human readable data and 2D barcode.
This product version is specifically optimized to perform in the 865-868 MHz frequency band.
