Atom measures 25 x 9 x 3 millimeters and provides read range up to 7 meters. The tag is a great solution for small metallic tools, IT assets, medical equipment and Work in Process metallic parts. Even smaller than Atom, Proton is 10 x 5 x 3.2 millimeters to fit the strongest size limitations, with read range up to 3 meters. Both these UHF RFID tags for small metallic assets have a durable encasement that is rated IP68 and survives rough handling and temperature up to 150°C, making Atom and Proton a reliable choice for harsh industrial environments. RTEC is also able to offer customized encasements to meet diverse specific requirements.
