HID Global recently unveiled InLine Tag Ultra, a new family of advanced general-purpose UHF RFID tags for global logistics applications.

The InLine Tag Ultra products are high-end, passive UHF RFID tags are designed to meet the requirements of the most demanding logistics applications in terms of reading performance regardless of region of use and application surface, flexibility of attachment, ingress protection (IP) and resistance to aggressive chemicals and rough handling.
All members of the InLine Tag Ultra family feature Impinj Monza 4QT which provides extended EPC memory, a 48 bit unique serial number, 512 bits of user memory and the possibility to keep separate public and private profiles for added data security (Impinj’s QT technology).
Furthermore, these passive UHF RFID tags feature a HID Global’s patented 3D antenna that provides extremely high insensitivity to orientation.
The InLine Tag Ultra products are available in 5 configurations for mounting on virtually any surface with standard screws, industrial adhesives or welding and improve data collection speed and accuracy in a wide range of applications such as tracking of trucks, wagons and trains, pallets and goods, shipping containers, waste bins, metallic kegs and gas cylinders. All these UHF RFID tags boast a robust PC/ABS high impact encasement which can be delivered with custom embossed logo. The standard color is Pantone blue 287C but other colors are available.
