New UHF RFID labels from TAGEOS leverage Impinj’s Monza R6 chip to provide high-end read sensitivity at lower costs

Impinj Monza R6 RFID labels.

Manufacturer of UHF RFID labels TAGEOS brings to the market new versions of the previously released EOS-300, EOS-400 and EOS-500, plus a totally brand new model, the EOS-210, all equipped with the latest Impinj chip, the Monza R6. The new products combine Tageos’ manufacturing process, which allows to attach RFID antennas and chips directly to paper without using any plastic substrate, with the exceptional performance that the Impinj Monza R6 chip offers at low costs. The result is something any end-user seeking for high-end read sensitivity at low costs should take in consideration.

EOS-210 R6

The EOS-210 is a UHF RFID label specifically designed for tagging small items in retail applications. The product represents an excellent solution for underwear and other small apparel items in general, offering reliable reads also on poly-bagged items and garments that are closely spaced or even stacked. This model is recommended also for cosmetics and pharmaceuticals tagging, and other applications that require a small RFID label with solid performance on various surfaces. The tag provides read range up to 4.5 meters on both plastic and cardboard, despite the compact size of just 45 x 30 millimeters. In addition to the Impinj Monza R6 version — the EOS-210 R6 — the EOS-210 is available also with NXP UCODE 7 chip.
