Omni-ID RFID tags for oil & gas.

Omni-ID presented a complete range of RFID tags for the oil and gas industry. These new products are very different in terms of attachment method, robustness and costs in order to meet the needs of both users who are looking for extreme durability and others looking for certain specific characteristics at prices that make RFID adoption possible in some particular cases. Furthermore, Omni-ID launched also an enhanced RFID tag for IT asset tracking.      .

360°

.

Boasting an industrial steel frame encasement, the 360° are RFID tags able to resist the harshest environments and roughest handling. They feature a tether hole designed specifically to meet the needs of oil and gas and other heavy industry applications.
The 360° can be delivered with many customization services which include surface etching/printing on only one or both sides. These Gen 2 RFID tags can be also provided with an optional, additional ISO 18000-3 Mode 1 HF RFID chip for dual frequency / RFID standard functionality...

Forte

.

The Forte are encased in a weldable steel frame to withstand the harshest environmental conditions and most challenging mechanical stresses. These rugged RFID tags can to be permanently fixed to the tagged item for security and anti-counterfeiting purposes by welding, but can also be fastened with screws/rivets or adhesive foam. These Forte are available in a single regional version tuned to work in ETSI and FCC regulated areas and provide high read performance for use in the oil and gas industry, in heavy machinery and construction applications and metal part manufacturing management. Also on these EPC Gen 2 RFID tags, Omni-ID offers many customization services which include surface etching/printing on one only or both sides and the additional operational frequency option in compliance with the ISO 18000-3 mode 1 RFID standard..

Pipe Tag

.

The Pipe Tags are high impact, limited life RFID tags constructed to survive the harsh conditions typical of pipe and cylinder storage and transport at low cost. EPC Gen 2 RFID compliant, these tags come in two different regional version optimized for the FCC and the ETSI frequency bands providing read ranges of up to 15m when attached to metal surfaces. The special fastening mechanism eases the attachment and removal operations for cylindrical items and other difficult to tag parts......

Solo

.

The Solo are UHF RFID tags designed to improve the supply chain visibility of a wide range of metal and non-metal assets. These low cost RFID tags provide high-end performance  combined with the robustness that is needed in heavy duty applications such as tracking of rental or pooled assets to be processed many times in harsh indoor or outdoor conditions.
The Solo are available in two regional versions: FCC and ETSI..

Prox NG

.

The Prox NG are Gen 2 RFID tags designed to reliably track servers, blade servers, routers, switches and other IT assets. They provide consistent, broadband (860-930MHz) read performance meeting the FSTC requirements for RFID tags to be used in IT asset tracking. The Prox NG tags feature a tether hole which allows easy attachment to hard to tag objects. The Prox NG tags stand out by a wide read angle for optimal performance with both handheld readers and fixed portals.
