Kineo

Kineo is a passive RFID sensor tag that provides a solution when the use of batteries is not recommended or when periodical battery replacement can be a problem. Kineo comes in non-protected PCB formats conceived for permanent integration in non-metallic parts as standard, but fully customized encapsulation can be provided by Farsens to meet any durability and fixing requirement. The built-in 3-axis accelerometer is able to measure acceleration values that range from ±2 g to ±16 g, with accuracy of ±40 mg, resolution of 1 mg and output data rate of 10 Hz. Kineo is available in different antenna formats optimized to deliver different performance in terms of directivity and read range (up to 1.5 meters).

Please contact Farsens for further information about Kineo and the kits available for quick development of solutions based on this passive RFID sensor tag technology. Additional information is also available in the VeryFields RFID Tags Database.
