BlueBerry HS UHFThe Tertium Technology BlueBerry HS UHF is an RFID key fob reader capable of reading a UHF RFID tag and transmit the stored data to any device equipped with Bluetooth® interface. With BlueBerry HS HF, reading the data stored in an RFID tag and transmitting it to a mobile device is as easy as pushing a button. The device provides read distance up to 30 cm with UHF far-field tags and 2 cm with UHF near-field tags. The BlueBerry HS UHF supports both SPP and HID (Human Interface Device) Bluetooth profiles. The HID profile allows to transfer data in keyboard emulation mode to mobile devices equipped with operative systems as iOS (iPad®, iPhone®), Android and others. At the same time, connected via USB port, the BlueBerry HS UHF offers an easy way to RFID-enable any PC or device running Windows, Linux and Mac OS operating systems. Thanks to the TT-RFID protocol, a software platform that allows simultaneous and homogeneous management of all the Tertium Technology readers, including readers for proprietary active tags and passive HF ISO 15693 and UHF EPC Class 1 Gen 2 readers, the development of complete solutions leveraging multiple devices is extremely easy. The TT-RFID protocol allows to set the major functionalities as, for instance, the automatic scanning or the conversion of the read data into ASCII format. All high-level operations such as information processing, visual displaying, SMS generation, e-mailing and others can be operated using data captured with the BlueBerry HS UHF.
