Starting from minimum sizes of 50 x 20 millimeters, TexTrace’s Woven RFID Brand Labels are UHF RFID labels for apparel source tagging that have the same look and feel as traditional clothing labels and can be fully customized to meet any brand requirement. Securely sewn on the apparel item at the point of manufacture, TexTrace’s Woven RFID Brand Labels bring together all the benefits of RFID item-level tagging, including higher speed and accuracy in supply chain and inventory operations, product authenticity verification and brand reputation protection, anti-theft functionality, enhanced customer interaction and easy return & warranty handling at points of sale. The standard RFID chip used is the NXP UCODE G2iL, but others are available upon customer request. Despite its small sizes, TexTrace’s Woven RFID Brand Labels provide read ranges that are comparable to those of common UHF RFID tags used in apparel tagging applications. The products are engineered to undergo clothing finishing processes as stone and enzyme washing, and provide good resistance to form and tunnel finishing, dry cleaning and domestic washing. The tag unique ID and other human readable data can be pre-printed on the backside of the label.
