Xerafy Roswell - Autoclavable version USThe Xerafy Roswell is an innovative UHF RFID tag that uses its extremely rugged stainless aluminum chassis as an antenna to provide read range up to 5 meters and 180 degree read orientation in harsh and metal-rich environments.
The tag is made of two cylindrical metal cases with a thin high-temperature resistant substrate between them. This patent pending IP69K-rated design allows the Roswell to reliably withstand strong impacts and vibrations, sand blasting, extended exposure to extreme temperatures up to 250 degrees Celsius and challenging thermal cycling.
This special autoclavable version is designed to track surgical trays, healthcare equipment and other metal assets that must undergo autoclave or chemical sterilization.
The tag feature IP69K protection against the ingress of dusts and liquids, and is tested to survive chemical sterilization conducted with a variety of agents, hot steam and autoclave sterilization, disinfection with hot water, disinfection with UV light, ultrasonic cleaning and enzyme washing. The Micro II complies with the most stringent US Food and Drug Administration requirements for medical devices (FDA Class 1).
Featuring brackets that allow also mounting by means of screws or loop ties, this Roswell model measures 48mm x 28mm x 13.5mm.
Xerafy can deliver the product laser engraved with human readable data and 2D barcode.
