The SAG 13×13 Overmolded Square Tag measures 13 x 13 x 2 millimeters and has a rugged PA9T plastic construction that is rated IP68 and allows the tag to survive heat up to 250°C for 2 hours, high pressure, a number of aggressive chemicals and other harsh conditions. The product underwent more than 100 thermal shock cycles between -25°C and +134°C, at 2.1 atm pressure, without failures. The SAG 13×13 Overmolded Square Tag is ideally suited for part tracking and authentication in manufacturing and asset maintenance processes, inventory control and other situations where an extremely small and rugged HF tag is required. This small HF RFID tag for harsh environments is available in two different chip versions, with Fujitsu MB89R118C that offers 2 kB of FRAM user memory and withstands gamma sterilization and NXP ICODE SLIX that offers 896 bits of user memory. Customization services include logo and text printed on the tag surface, laser engraved ID numbering that withstands rough handling and extremely harsh environments.
