The STI-1 and STI-2 have a height of 10 millimeters and feature a form factor specifically engineered for being easily and securely screwed into threaded holes with diameter of 36 millimeters as for the STI-1, and diameter of 24 millimeters with regard to the STI-2. Both the tags have also an anti-tampering screw slot so that, once installed, the tag cannot be removed without breaking. Providing excellent sturdiness and performing well on both metallic and non-metallic surfaces, these screw-in UHF RFID tags are a reliable solution for a wide range of asset tracking applications in the harshest industrial environments. The products come primarily in regional versions, but also versions tuned for global-use can be provided by TROI upon special customer request. The ST-1 uses Alien Technology Higgs-3 chip, with other chips and also frequencies available as options. The STI-2 features Impinj Monza 4QT chip. These TROI tags can be delivered pre-programmed and marked with barcodes, logos and human readable data.
