The Metal Data Cinch are used in oil and gas, construction and other harsh environments to track assets such as lifts, slings, generators, pumps and containers. These rugged RFID tags are also a tamper-proof identification solution for transportation truck trailers, can be used to enhance certification and compliance programs, maintenance and repair processes that can also benefit from the lock-out capability of the Metal Data Cinch.

The the Metal Data Cinch are usually delivered in HF and UHF versions, but also LF products can be delivered on customer request. The UHF versions embed the Xerafy Pico-iN Plus tags (FCC or ETSI), the standard HF ISO 15693 – ISO 18000-3 Mode 1 version come with NXP ICODE SLI IC, the most common HF ISO 14443 A versions feature the following chips: NXP MIFARE Ultralight, NXP MIFARE Classic 1K and NXP MIFARE Classic 4K.
