Thanks to its IP68-rated polypropylene encasement, Allied Series VX-Mid survives the harshest industrial and outdoor environments with a 10-year life expectancy. The tag is able to withstand strong mechanical stresses and exposure to temperature up to 160°C and many corrosive chemicals. Allied Series VX-Mid is designed to be mounted by means of screws, but optional high strength adhesive on the back and welding plates are available as alternatives. Upon customer request, Xtreme RFID can deliver this sturdy on-metal RFID tag with clear resin marking or labels carrying human readable data. Allied Series VX-Mid is ideally suited for tracking assets and returnable transport items in a broad range of industries, i.e. oil & gas, automotive manufacturing, construction, mining and agriculture. The product leverages the Alien Technology Higgs-3 chip and is optimized to provide the best performance when used at 902-928 MHz.
