Measuring just 12 mm in diameter and 7 mm in thickness, the FX-1 is an extremely small UHF passive tag designed to be flush mounted inside all-material surfaces and provide excellent orientation insensitivity.
Able to withstand high-temperatures up to 200 degrees Celsius taking advantage of the ability to be mounted inside surfaces, this UHF passive RFID tag is an ideal solution for identification of tools and machinery, returnable transport items, metal and non-metal parts in industrial environments.
The standard product version has a magnetic base which delivers higher versatility and simplifies the tag installation: it allows magnetic attachment for easy fixing and removal from metallic parts, offers a surface for adhesives for metal, increases the tag rigidity making it easier the insertion into a cut hole.
The FX-1 features a TROI proprietary high temperature epoxy encasement and comes with Impinj Monza 4QT chip.
